And then we saw an otter

Lovely bright dry morning but a little chilly in the wind.
Went the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There were some seals on the rocks at Kiel.
Lovely to be out on a day like this.
Walked along the beach at Carskey, as we were walking along we noticed a creature at the shoreline.When we got nearer we realised it was an otter.
It clearly saw us coming along but it carried on with a little cleaning, some rolling in the pebbles, and quite happily looking around. It wasn't until we were within 30 or 40 yards did it get up and wander into the sea swimming off in a very leisurely fashion.
