Birthday Bimble

Being the ever so sensible sometimes person that I am, we headed out for a 20-mile flatter ride via the Maspalomas sand dunes. The sight is quite spectacular and another trip, when I'm walking properly, it would be great to explore them more. As it was, we stopped and started a few times on our bikes and headed on our way.

Given I have my sights on a bigger ride tomorrow, it wasn't long before I realised I didn't want to put a ride in for the sake of it. It wasn't exciting and very undulating. So given it's my birthday, I diverted us down to a little marina inside a golf resort for a coffee at Pasito Blanco.

That was lovely and, after a chill out there for a while, Rich headed for an extra blast and I meandered home.

We've had lunch, a few hours by the pool and more great food this evening.

We're now getting sorted for tomorrow's ride. Fingers crossed!
