2920…..
8 years worth of blip entries…. wowsers…
We love any excuse for a celebration. Even if that means grabbing a shot in what turned out to be a freakish rainstorm just at the moment we had chosen (in fading light) to go get a photo. I like that Katie still obliged it anyway, because she knew that it was for her blip day and she liked that. She even chose the shot and the final edit.
Blip is very special to us. It's brought us friends who are precious beyond all measure to us, who we consider family; its taken us to family on a daily basis; its holding tight to the childhood of my little girl. There for me to remember, laugh at, cry at, look back over whenever I want. I can't thank blipcentral enough for that. And I can't thank the blip community enough for protecting that and continuing to treasure it enough to keep doing so.
When I began blipping, she was a newborn baby. Now she's 8 with dreams of going off to school to study her passions…. and you lot share the journey we are taking.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
She had a good day at YYM, despite most of the students being off at a rehearsal she resented rather as she wanted to be there and wasn't allowed. She disliked losing her normal buddy for the day and didn't much like that in her piano lesson she didn't actually touch a piano once but had to spend the entire time doing aural work. Despite all that, she enjoyed the day. Which I guess shows how much she likes going.
She spent the entire time from coming home writing an epic story for B. When she goes away, they have a thing that Katie writes her a letter, card, poem, story or something for the plane. She's going away again this week, so the creation had to begin!
