The Tubes

I bought my first Tubes record in 1979. It was a white vinyl copy of the single Prime Time.
I became a fan and bought their records over the years.
It's hard to categorise them....sometimes easy listening, a bit of jazz funk, a lot of rock music, with plenty of humour and buckets of showmanship. They remain a collection of some of the best musicians you'll ever see.
I never saw them live until they came to my home town Dunfermline in 2012 to play at the Carnegie Hall.
It was a real pleasure to see them at a small venue, The Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh.
They are in Scotland to play at The Hydro Arena with Alice Cooper on the 12th.
