Sad news
Found out the worst type of news this morning, my uncle had passed away. I am in a numb state as it was unexpected, and my thoughts go out to my aunty, and cousins who will be in a state that I can not even imagine, how do you pick yourself up and carry on. The best that I can think of is through wonderful memories of him, he was a man who loved to laugh, and what a laugh too, it was infectious! I will always remember him as my uncle that liked to have a good joke, always keen to lighten the mood by saying something funny. We always enjoyed a bit of stirring the pot together, as we didn't like to take things to serious. He will always be in my eyes the santa at the family gatherings, he loved the kids and we can all remember a time as him dressed in his red suit. He loved his swannies, another point of stirring between us, the loser getting well and truly rubbed in, all in a loveable good humour.
You will be missed by many, may you look over us and smile, that great big smile of yours as in our hearts you will always be.
Children pulls us out of our grief, if by only for a while, today there were parties to go to, although I was quite and withdrawn thinking about my family and what they are going through I watched my girls run around today totally blissfully happy with their good friends.
Lara sat here enjoying her fairy bread, happy to be picking off the little sugar balls.
