Evening clip clop

Today, I should have been in London with the boys for Remembrance Sunday and a lovely lunch with friends.  Sensibility took over and instead, we went to our local parade, which wasn't quite the same as going to St Pauls.  But, the most important thing was to mark the day. 

I dragged the husband out this afternoon for a short walk.  The youngest took out a toy fire engine that he'd found in the garage - and lo and behold, there was a real fire engine out, tending a house where a bonfire had got a bit out of control and set light to a tree.  

We were treated to the most amazing sunset, I took this picture whilst hanging around with the youngest splashing about in a puddle.  The husband and eldest went to check out the old horse in the paddock - can just about make him out by the gate.
