We got back to Peebles on Friday and made it up Cademuir before it was completely dark. It felt good to be back, despite the cold. Don’t get me wrong, a week in the sun was great, but I did miss trees and greenery and landscape with a bit of character.

Saturday was back to reality with a delightful bump, poo-picking in a frozen field early in the morning for RDA. Today, a lovely walk that included a sighting of a kingfisher and then a lazy afternoon and evening with a touch of the Sunday night blues.
