Meeting a giant

John reading about a Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) tree in Laurelhurst park in Portland. We were at a birthday party nearby, and walked in the park before heading home. The sign did not mention how old the tree was. It is an endangered tree, with the population in decline.
