Woke up early for once and joined a host of NaNoers at the write-in in Cambridge, I didn't actually do any writing while I was there but sorted out a lot of my photos (stretching back to February/March) for uploading some new albums to Facebook. It was nice to see everyone as I've not been to a meeting for a few months and they're typically quieter the rest of the year, there was a lot of familiar faces about yesterday as we start ramping up for this November, this week's pub meet could be fun as well!

I spent the afternoon back at the house still mucking about with photos until it was time to head over to Simon's for a games night. We spent two hours playing 'Elder Sign', which saw our characters slowly (or quickly) losing our marbles (what we had to begin with) until a big gribbly showed up and ate us all. We spent the rest of the evening engaging in a bit of games design (coincidentally, so did Skyrider) for an idea Simon's had, helping him put together some character stats (with some bias) and working out a few games dynamics - there were some hilarious discussions as we tried to work a few things out!

The whole time Minion was running around causing a bit of chaos, but after a while he just hid and watched us, I snapped this one while he was watching
the gribbly thingy eat us all - he seemed very intrigued with all the bits and pieces moving around!
