Harvesting Sugar Beet...

...under an interesting sky.  Compared to the ROPA Tiger I saw a few days ago this is a very small machine but it looked to be efficient!  There is no hopper so another tractor with trailer has to drive alongside to collect the crop as it is lifted.  This is a New Holland TM155 working a Garford Victor Beet Harvester and feeding a New Holland T7.260 Tractor and trailer.

In the good old days this was done by hand and the beet moved away by horse and cart.

The Extra is a CASE Quadtrac 580 and a Simba SLD 60 cultivator. A monster tractor producing 580 hp.
