At the Olive Oil Press
Visited an olive oil press today (it's the harvesting season). There was a queue of people bringing along their olives to be pressed - in little pick up trucks or the backs of cars or whatever. This lady was waiting for her pressed oil to be collected into what looked like a 10L plastic petrol can. While we were there we were given warm village toast drizzled with olive oil with a squeeze of lemon juice and a shaking of oregano. Food of the gods!
I discovered that I find it really hard to ask people if I can take their photo. However luckily she was happy to pose! Pity about the pipe that appears to be about to attack her neck but I only had a couple of seconds.
