The Forest Floor

I didn't get out today until the afternoon. I had hopes of a bit of sidelighting but it didn't really happen. I stopped off at a bit of local woodland and set the tripod as low as it would go to give me a worm's eye view of this carpet of leaves. I shot about 14 exposures for a focus stack so I could get that perfect focus front to back but in the end I decided that 7 would do the job well enough. I quite like the shapes in this line of tree trunks as a background.
