The Plane Tree

Not to be confused with a plain tree. This one sits outside my Dad's kitchen window and in real life is much more impressive than this representation which I have fiddled around with during some idle moments. Its foliage provides shade in the summer and a perfect resting place for the myriad of birds which visit the feeders on the balcony. In winter it shows off its bark, and its leaves come and go over a period of time providing a range of greens in the spring and greens and browns in the autumn.
A London Plane? In Taunton.
