old spice tree

going a little more traditional with this shot, as I wanted to capture and share the setting suns light on this magnificent old gum tree right across the road from our favourite Indian restaurant, Delhi Spice. We always sit out on the verandah, rain or shine, and I look at this tree and it's surrounding pocket of grape vines - one of the last remaining urban vineyards south of the city. So the tree and it's surroundings have a bit of history. The first day of daylight saving meant dinner while the sun was setting.
