What a day.

At 11am we were at the crematorium saying goodbye to my friend and work collegue's husband, he had taught Ray at college when he was an apprentice engineer many years ago. He was a lovely man who enjoyed life to the full. You will be missed by not only your family but lots of friends and acquaintances in Cockermouth. Peter Brown 1938 - 1917

After we left Peter's service we then walked round the Crematorium and back in for the 12 noon service to pay tribute to husband and wife, James and Jean Hazelwood who had died within six days of each other, a well loved and respected Harrington couple who we had known since  the days of the motor club over 40 years ago. Another couple who will be missed by a lot of people.

By then we were ready for a coffee, so called on Mark and Stewart before coming home to a quiet afternoon by the fire.
