Purchases.....!

These are the things I bought at the show yesterday...
It doesn't look a lot but because I have so many other projects on the go ..I had to restrain myself...
And as we discovered there was a lot more stalls and displays of the 'stitching' variety there than knitting or crochet...
But we looked at everything...
Now, you may wonder what on earth a 'chicken shaped' Pot Stand is doing there..? But there actually were quite a number of stalls with items that had no relation to either knitting or stitching and this was one of them...
I couldn't resist it ( as I love all things 'chickens') and had to move on quickly before I bought more than one..
As you can see I've already started the fingerless glove/wrist warmers...it's Alpaca wool.. so soft and just beautiful to work with...I haven't used it before..
I also love the ribbons with the 'Handmade By Me' and the Have A Yummy Christmas' on...my jams will have nice ties now...!!
The wee Ladybug is a crossstitch kit....a first for me ..I've never tried this before but am really looking foreword to giving it a go...this is very much a beginner kit...it has the picture printed on the canvas so a little easier to follow..as it's mostly counted cross stitch..!
