so while my new place looked this this (see right) I head out with my friends (see left).

My mate simon was djing in Glasgow so lots of the Edinburgh lot went out with the Glasgow lot and I went out too, despite the post earthquake state of my new flat. Was weird looking up on the dancefloor and seeing so many faces i knew from Edinburgh. Kept having to remember where i was. After the club we headed back to Din's place and after that I spent the day making thank you star cakes in the lovely new double oven in the new flat. Nothing like baking to make you feel at home but I'm terrible at it. Looks like a small child made the cakes.. owell
