Sacre Coeur
We spent the day at Montmartre today. We took a free walking tour with a young British guide named Harry. He was great and we had a wonderful time. At the end of the tour we went to Sacre Coeur. It is quite beautiful. It was built in the early 20th Century and looks different from any other cathedral in Paris. We stopped ata crepe restaurant for galettes. On the way down from the mountain we walked down stairs and visited many shops. I bought gifts and a small painting from one of the artists in a plaza full of them. We took the Metro home. Janet and I went to a local restaurant for dinner while the rest stayed home and ate cheese and bread.
