It was foggy and clear at the same time. This is a view across Monterey Bay, seen from in front of the lighthouse, with the twin towers of the Moss Landing power plant about a quarter of the way into the frame. The atmosphere created unusual striations along the horizon, which look to me like a bar code. You might have to zoom in to read it. I was actually wondering if I could figure out a way to scan it and see what it said. Way to send a message from outer space!! And I'm the only one who figured it out.
