Don't fence me in

This A4 sized Journal Quilt was made for next year's exhibition by the Thistle Quilters group in Edinburgh. We were all asked to make a landscape orientated journal quilt for a specific week based on the prompt: News. As you can tell I sought my news very close to home. My week was the one starting the 29th May and I combined an image of Flora (my big news in 2017) with a picture of a gate in the Penicuik Estate that I took during the Artful Adventures, Stroll through the Hood project I was participating in during that week.
