"AVER!"

Taken this morning walking around the Run Sunday course in Otley Chevin Forest Park. There's a certain dignity to this defaced tree and it stood apart almost as an advocate for the whole wood and in the magical silence touched by the just risen sun what might it say? Might it say, "Aver!"
