Into The Abyss....

Actually into Stump Cross Caverns. What a great place. If you are slightly claustrophobic then these are not for you. I'm only 5.1 and I crunched my head a few times much to the delight of my mum in law as  she was always doing it because she's tall. They let you go down on your own and you go down 65 steps steeply and because of this the boys didn't come down! So it was just us two and there was no one else down there so we walked a mile in and a mile back. There are actually 4 or 5 miles which they have opened up but they are not for the public. I loved it down there, maybe cause not crowded with people. Being in confined places doesn't bother me and so I think I rattled off over 200 pics down here.
If you are in Yorkshire do visit it, it's  fascinating.
