Damp Moorland Walk

We left Pickering with blue skies and travelled towards the Moors. As we started the walk black clouds loomed overhead and proceeded to rid themselves of some weight.

Our walk was somewhat curtailed and as luck would have it the skies brightened as we returned to the car! The view is at the end of the walk looking down into the Hole of Horcum.

The extra follows yesterday’s theme on road works. A rather perilous place to repair the road. Three men to manage the one way traffic and two to do the work.
