Malham

I am staying here in Malham in the Yorkshire Dales for a short break. I’ve been a few times before but it’s such a lovely area that it’s well worth returning to.

After parking in the village we went to cross one of the bridges and disturbed a kingfisher that was perched there. In a split second it had vanished. Our B&B said that I was very lucky as it’s rarely seen. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to even lift the camera so no kingfisher blip. The photo is of the road bridge in the centre of Malham.
