Owlie

This owlie brooch is one of several trinkets for a special person's birthday coming up. Lovely little treats from the new shabby chic boutique shop in my village.

A chilly day today so I treated myself to a gingerbread latte at the cafe as a break from my office (which is a pretty drafty corner of the cottage).

Resisted the temptation for a carb loaded supper this evening and went for a healthy chicken salad with spinach, grilled halloumi and peppers. My friend visiting me for the evening had suggested fish and chips take away. Luckily they weren't disappointed as the halloumi was delicious!
