The morning after the night before ....

Another day of power related goings on. The Scottish Power guys had the power back on by 2.30 am thanks to a stand by generator, so candle power no longer needed.
A dry day so wee brother and staff branding blackie glimmers horns . They get an O or E depending on which hill they belong on one horn and the year they were born on the other.
Blocked the yard off ready to work on cattle when Scottish Power turned up in force with a replacement transformer, so had to shift tractors again to let them in . After the power being off again they had everything swapped and running again by 1 pm.
BT also here to try and sort out the broadband but decided it was an underground fault so a different team's problem !
An afternoon spent vaccinating more heifers then a cow and calf to bring in to suck next door. The joys ! At least we had some lights to see what we were doing now .
