Too much of a good thing!

I love the scent of lilies, but perhaps one or two stems in a bouquet, rather than four stems in their own in a vase!  It is a bit overwhelming!  A late afternoon blip before I put them out in the sun room (aka satsumary) where we can still see them but will only smell them when we walk through to the back door.  They will probably be a lot happier in the cooler temperature, and will probably live a lot longer than in the cosy sitting room too.

Off to choir practise in the evening.  Only three more rehearsals to go!  We're singing Vivaldi's Magnificat and Britten's St Nicholas.  We've never sung the Vivaldi before, but sang St Nicholas in 1996 and 2006, so about time it had another outing!
