Last line of defence

Just after I opened the curtains this morning Steve noticed doors hanging off of the shed. It turned out that burglars had been into the shed overnight and taken two mountain bikes and a couple of power tools, and a can of petrol. The police have been around but we don't hold out much hope for them finding the criminals or our valuables.

We had the shed locked and bolted, but once they prise the hinges off of one side of the door, the bolts are simply opened by hand and the padlock is left holding the two doors together.

Sadly we will have to take steps to improve our security both inside and outside of the house.

In happier news, Nathan's team won 11-1 at home today.
