Escaped for a couple of short walks

Back after a couple of days of solid decorating. A nice bright early morning so I went for a stroll up to Orrest Head just outside Windermere. Lovely clear light on the Langdales and a small amount of mist/cloud down by the lake. Afterwards drove and parked up at Pelter Bridge and did a circular walk past Rydal cave to Loughrigg Terrace and back. The light was much flatter by this time so the picture in extras from Rydal Cave is much more interesting in mono.
