Home to Be

Went to our new home to be in Iittala this morning to get some a bedroom painted while the plumber was working on the pipes. As is common with his kind throughout the world, he hasn't shown up and won't show up until next week. All he has done so far is to pull the entire kitchen out ready for the new kitchen fitters. Pipes next week he says.
Anyway, as you can see it was a beautiful morning after a light overnight snowfall. This is our new home, shot from across the road.
The little building on which the satellite dish sits is merely the house for the bin. The small building half hidden behind the trees is a little summer house. The main house is the left hand building with the large windows. The smaller building to the right contains boiler room, the man shed as we call it and the sauna. That accounts for the black chimney. The sauna is a proper wood fired one.
Moving in day now looks like early December.
