Tony Bird DFC, Lancaster Bomber Pilot

Tony Bird DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross), visiting the Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park on october 7 2012. Tony Bird was accompanied by Cathy and Tony Hughes, son Stevie and Avronne and Keith Palmer. Keith's uncle Bernard was Tony Bird's Flight Engineer during the second world war when they flew Lancaster Bombers together. Tony has written a book about his experiences called 'A Bird over Berlin'
