Another Place

Today's blip has been a tough choice - cute vs emotional, fluffy vs moving. Thank Goodness for extras :-)))))
I've spent the day on or near the beaches of the North West coast - starting  from Southport and heading South via Formby and Crosby. The red squirrels in the woods at Formby were a delight - all the more so as I hadn't seen one in the wild until today. But the Anthony Gormley sculptures on the beach at Crosby blew me away - thinking of all the comings and goings along this stretch of water over the centuries.  Many left seeking a better life elsewhere and I hope that, for some at least, their dreams came true
