Supervising Civil Engineer

As a Chartered Member of the ICE I am committed to helping graduates and those who want to achieve the same. I have acted as a "Delegated Engineer" for several graduates for a few years now but last year I was given "Supervising Civil Engineer" status and I have six graduates under my guidance. My role includes to review their training and guide them and make sure they are given the right opportunities to progress and sign them off as ready to become members of the ICE.

One of my graduates is currently working in London and struggles to come up to Rugby for reviews so I went to meet him after work. We had a three month review in the rain outside a bar and then went for some food in a burger bar with another graduate.
