Yesterday my dad came to visit us, straight from the Shetland ferry - which meant he was at our door before most of us were up and before any of us were dressed. He had forgotten I’d said the boys were off school so was rushing to get here before they headed off, and I had forgotten he might be early.

Anyway, we had a good day together at home, resting off the events of the weekend and hiding from the horrid weather outside with some board games and chats and a bit of fifa and the like.

Today we went to see Paddington 2 at the cinema and a play on the beach afterwards.

Every weekend should have an extra two days surely. Well actually I really must think about putting some hours in at the office sometime soon.
