It must be something in the water, yesterday the 5 cygnets were all taking an afternoon nap while the adults kept a wary eye open.

Today, mum and dad took turns to take a nap.

I have to admit i'm feeling a little weary myself today, i had a very late night last night, i was up until 5-30 this morning. It was a beautifully clear night last night, so i sat out on the patio with my binoculars star gazing until Orion was situated due south, unfortunately my 10 x 50 bins were'nt powerful enough to see the Great Nebula, it just appeared as a smudge of light.

Telescope will be ordered tomorrow morning.
