Tuesday: Globe

There is a big conference in Vancouver over the next few days. My big boss from Ottawa flew in for it this morning and, later in the day, more delegation members arrived from the UK.

To kickstart it, there was an opening reception this evening. I was particularly pleased to run into an someone I used to know from Croatia who was here heading up the Croatian delegation.

After the reception, I took our UK visitors out for dinner. Just as well I booked - the restaurant was completely empty........

We're hanging out in the Convention Centre over the next few days - I quite like its spectacularly big orb.
