bluewater, family weekend, and temperamental wi-fi

...apologies to everyone for my late, brief or missing comments - we have been in Essex for a party and family visits. We had a fabulous weekend but the wi-fi was playing up and only worked sporadically. We are back in Dorset now and I will try to catch up on blips and commenting as quickly as possible.

On Thursday, we drove to the Bluewater shopping centre near Dartford in Kent to buy a party dress for L, after which, we continued our journey to sunny Southend-on-Sea.

Today's blip is of an unidentified male Ichneumon wasp. I also managed to get some images of a female of the same species but she didn't pose well enough to make it into blipland...
