Walks by the stream

The light was not that good today.. overcast and waiting for the cold front to move south and bring heavy rain.  All the same this yellow really sang out over the purply sky reflections on the stream.  Now is the time to enjoy the last bursts of colour from the fading trees.. winter is on its way.. 

Started feeding the birds two days ago and the feeders are very busy... even the crow decided it would do its best to get some nuts ... not sure how successful it was..
