A Tropical Ficus....

This is my Ficus bonsai.  It is a tropical, meaning that it will freeze and die.  It doesn't tolerate temps below 40 degrees.  It was styled in August and has grown and recovered from the trimming and wiring.    All of the leaves are new since August and it continues to produce new leaves, so it is doing very well!  I will have to watch the wiring, though, so that wire scars are not left on the branches because the branches are growing and swelling.  This tree is very healthy and growing welll, even though there is 3 hours less light a day and the temps are definitely much lower.  I may even have to fertilize it, if it keeps going at this rate!
This is a very happy, bonsai tree.
