Priveleged

Felt so very privileged to meet and speak to Carol Ann Duffy this evening. I then sat, mesmerised as she read a selection of her poetry.
I invited a dear colleague- my lovely Work- mum (and avid Duffy fan, as the grin in the Blip confirms!) along. A lady that I have been most privileged to work with and more importantly been inspired and guided by. She still never fails to inspire, even now we no longer work together.
It felt like I was able to give her a tiny, little something back tonight.
Truly inspiring.
