For the Safety of All....

......an interesting visit to the HQ of the Northern Lighthouse Board after work. They are trying to raise awareness of the work they do, which as it turns out, is so much more than just maintaining lighthouses in some of the most dangerous locations in the world - as if that wasn't enough!  Mike Bullock (CEO) took us through a highly entertaining presentation which served to increase my admiration for the NLB. If the RNLI help save lives when things go wrong, the NLB try to stop them going wrong in the first place. I even got to ask which lighthouse the model at the front door is based on......Bell Rock, although the light pulse is currently Isle of May. #LighthouseMeet
