Sources of power

Went north this afternoon, to the beach house. Left the city rather later than intended, resulting in a slow trip. Daughter J also came and the three of us went out to dinner in Matakana. As we left, the sun (having set) was still colouring the sky, and I like this showing of it.

There is one source of the energy shown here in the sky and the power lines. Ultimately, the sun provides the energy shown by clouds and by wires. Humankind's use of electricity has long been accompanied by less than attractive mechanisms. Nevertheless, I still like the effect the lines have in this photo.
