Bright spot

This was probably the best of the day!  It is unbelievably wet everywhere.  The roads are running, there is water lying on the raised beds in the garden, the fields and under water, the tracks are impassable because of the liquid mud, and the hens aren't happy! 

Ollie and I managed a some short walks, along to check on the hens a couple of times and to see B. She hand fed him some dog biscuits and he crunched them up quite willingly!  His appetite has perked up a bit, I'm trying a couple of small meals a day, rather than just his dinner at night, and he's eating about half of it.   I do hope hand feeding isn't something he gets to expect!
