Whose coat is that jacket?
After a very, very late night in Bath, a 2:30am return I was lucky enough to be awake just in time for my train to Cardiff. It's been a good few months since I last went to the New Theatre, Cardiff, so it was good to be back.
Today's play was a comedy by Frapetsus Productions, a Welsh company, who last year had a successful run with their Rugby World Cup comedy "Bred in Heaven", but today it was "Whose Coat is that Jacket?" The story of a Welshman who married an Englishwoman, and how the wife felt a bit of an outsider in the valleys and wanted a new life. The relationships resonated well with the audience and I'm sure everyone could relate to the mother afraid to let her children go, especially to that London.
Can't wait for next year's sequel which is entitled "I'll be there now, in a minute!" Another great Welsh Valley saying!
