Sunrise

A bright clear day

When I awoke this morning I noticed a beautiful sunrise from the lounge window. Quickly getting my camera, I was able to take the shot from just outside the front door. The silhouette of the houses gave it quite a dramatic effect.

As the day progressed it seemed to be the opposite of the old rhyme about red skies in the morning being the shepherd's warning - beautiful clear blue skies being much in evidence.
