St Laurence's Church, Church Stretton

I assume this is the church bit in the name of Church Stretton - perhaps I ought to look it up...Yes it is. The Stretton bit comes from Stret, referring to Watling Street, which passes through, and Tun, Anglo-Saxon for settlement.
