Durlston nr Swanage ( Isle of Wight in distance)
Having got up really early to brave the dentist at Lytchett Matravers, we decided to make the most of a wonderful blue skied day and head to Durlston Country Park at Swanage. It was magnificent the views there are stunning and there was plenty of bird life - we saw Long tailed tits, meadow pipits and a female bullfinch.
Sadly there was quite bit of police activity, a helicopter flew overhead and policeman were visible searching in the distance for the missing teenager. It's so hard to think of awful things happening when you are immersed in such beauty.
The dental work was the final visit to have the crowns fitted. They feel very 'clack' - I hope I shall get used to the new 'bite' !
Have a good weekend.
