Sunset from Greymouth
Sunsets can be twee I know but they can also be special to those present as this one was.
My mind will feast on the memory of this in the middle of winter. I grew up in the north and sunsets over water were easier to come across. When I get the opportunity to see the sun set over water I cherish it. (Living in Christchurch the Southern Alps come between me and the Tasman Sea on the West Coast).
Here the sun is slipping into the Tasman Sea (or seemingly so ;-)
We had a great day including a beautiful wander in bush behind the small town of Runanga. In the end the sunset won out over the slow shutter speed shot of water falls.
The West Coast is a great place.
