Poor wee birdie

Only realised that this little bird was missing a foot when I blew the photo up to actually size on the laptop! It was checking out the remains of my son's lunch at Whinlatter Forest today.

We were there as Forestry Commission Ambassadors to try it out and blog about it. There will be more to come as I took over 170 photos and I'm working on a slideshow... They are appearing on Flickr but with no text as yet (and they need culling!).

A wonderful day to be out enjoying what the Forest has to offer families with young children. Feeling rather shattered now though ;-)
