Growing up

This little orchid arrived two years ago as a get well present. It was one of those tiny plants sold in supermarkets. I put it in a larger pot once it had stopped flowering, and it has grown into a respectable size and sent up a new flower. It is such a dainty variety.
The family came this afternoon to show off J's new company car. It is a hybrid and slipped away silently in its electric mode when they left. The controls look very complicated, I am glad I don't have to master them!
